Goodreads M/M Romance 2013 Best Books Challenge

Each year the members of the Goodreads M/M Romance Group vote on their favorite books in a variety of categories (here's the list and winners).  There are A LOT of categories (I just counted -- there are 42 categories!!) and each category lists the top three books which means there are a total of 126 books listed.  Luckily, many wind up winning in multiple categories, and I'd already read some of the books myself, so that makes it slightly more doable. :)

So, here's the list of the books that I own and I haven't read yet (with a big boost from a marathon purchasing binge on Kobo last weekend, with the help of a 90% off coupon).  I still have 21 books to borrow or wait for another awesome Kobo coupon code to pop up.  I have to admit though, that some of the descriptions of the books that I haven't bought yet, just didn't appeal to me AT ALL, so I might just stick with this list.  Who knows!

4.5* I'm downgrading half a star because I think there was too much sex in this book. Crazy, I know. But the interactions between Cameron and Lucas outside of the bedroom were so wonderful, that I wanted more of those, not another sex scene (plus it started to get ridiculous and seem like it wasn't physically possible for them to do it yet again :-D). I highly recommend this if you want a well written, ultimately sweet but also super steamy enemies to lovers story. And did I mention that it's free! Go read it already!

It's time for a new year of challenges (how can that be??).  I like Wendy the Super Librarian's TBR Challenge, because the themes each month are voluntary, so if I have something that fits, great, I'll use it but if not, I'll use one of my go-to themes (usually "next in series" or "been on the tbr for the longest").

Here are the theme's for 2014:

January - We Love Short Shorts! (Short stories, Novellas, category romance)

February - Series Catch-Up (pick a book from a series you're behind on)

March - New-To-You Author (an author you've never read before)

April - Contemporary romance

May - More Than One (An author who has more than one book in your TBR pile)
